Option 1: Canberra Airport Express Shuttle Bus – Canberra Airport to the City
Canberra Airport Express shuttle bus offers airport-city-airport services daily during peak periods. Other stops include Russell, National Convention Centre and YHA.
The trips cost is $12 one way and $20 return. Tickets can be purchased a number of ways:
- Direct from the bus driver (EFTPOS or cash);
- At the car park customer service office located opposite the bus stop;
- Pre-booked at www.royalecoach.com.au;or
- By calling 1300 368 897.
The Canberra Airport bus stop is located kerbside upon exiting the Canberra Airport arrivals hall.

Please note: The Airport Express does not operate Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
Option 2: Canberra Airport Local Bus (ACTION) – Canberra Airport to the City Route 11
Local Canberra transport service ACTION bus network operates Route 11. If you would like to take Route 11 bus you will have to walk about 500m to the bus stop that is outside of the arrivals terminal.

If you are planning use ACTION bus service we suggest you purchase a MyWay card to enjoy a cheaper travel option. MyWay cards are available at numerous locations around Canberra.
